The OAAP (Open Authentication and Authorization Protocol) is a new protocol for Single Sign On the web.
It is accompanied by supplementary protocol called OAAP BP (OAAP Backend Protocol). The goal of this supplementary protocol is to provide automatic detection of provider sites where a user has already an account to authenticate against. This protocol is designed to work in conjuntion with OAAP. However, potentially it can be used in conjunction with OpenID and OAuth as well.
